Members and roles
Invite teammates, assign workspace roles, and manage pending invitations.
Open member settings
Open Settings → Members.
This page manages workspace access. To manage membership for an individual channel, use channel settings instead.
Workspace roles
| Role | Access |
|---|---|
| Owner | The workspace's highest-privilege role. The owner's role cannot be changed, and the owner cannot be removed from this page. |
| Admin | Can invite members, change eligible members' roles, remove eligible members, manage pending invitations, and connect Slack. |
| Member | Has standard workspace access without member-management controls. |
Owners and admins can manage other users, but they cannot change their own role or remove themselves from this page. They also cannot change or remove the workspace owner.
Only workspace admins can connect or disconnect Slack. Only users with an Endstack seat can use Endstack through a connected Slack workspace. See Slack for setup details.
Invite a member
Owners and admins can send workspace invitations:
- Enter the person's email address.
- Choose Member or Admin from the role menu.
- Select Invite.
The invitation appears in the member list as Pending and shows the role the person was invited to receive.
View and manage members
All workspace members can view the member list. It shows each person's name, email address, and current role. Your own entry is marked (you).
For eligible members, owners and admins can:
- Choose Member or Admin from the role menu to change the member's role.
- Open the member options menu and select Remove user to remove the member from the workspace.
The workspace owner and your own account show their role without editable management actions.
Manage pending invitations
Owners and admins can open the options menu for a pending invitation and choose:
- Resend invitation to send it again.
- Cancel invitation to invalidate it.
