Profile
Manage the name and profile picture teammates see across your workspace.
Open profile settings
Open Settings → Profile.
The identity card at the top shows your profile picture and primary label. Endstack uses your display name as the primary label when one is set, then falls back to your Linux username and finally your email address. Your email appears below the primary label when the two are different.
Change your display name
Use Display name to set the name shown to teammates in messages, channel member lists, and mentions.
- Select the edit button next to Display name.
- Enter a name of up to 80 characters.
- Select the save button or press Enter. Press Esc to cancel instead.
Leading and trailing spaces are removed when you save. Submitting an empty name cancels the edit. Changing your display name does not change your login email or Linux username.
Change your profile picture
Under Profile picture, select Choose to add a picture or Replace to change an existing one. You can use a PNG, JPEG, WebP, or GIF file up to 4 MB.
When the file picker is open, the button changes to Close. To clear an existing picture, use Remove profile picture.
Your updated picture appears anywhere your profile is shown, including the channel sidebar, message headers, mentions, and member lists.
