Notifications
Choose which messages notify you and how web and mobile notifications behave.
Open notification settings
Open Settings → Notifications.
These settings control workspace notification delivery and desktop toasts. Muting a specific channel is handled in channel settings.
Choose which messages notify you
Use Notify me about to choose one of these options:
| Option | Notification scope |
|---|---|
| All messages | Receive notifications for all channel messages. |
| Mentions & DMs | Receive notifications for mentions and direct messages. |
| Agent messages | Receive notifications for agent messages. |
Endstack product updates are always delivered regardless of the option you select.
Set the notification style
Notification style controls when desktop toast notifications disappear automatically:
- 5 seconds
- 10 seconds
- Never
Selecting Never keeps a toast from being dismissed automatically.
Control live-chat toasts
Turn on Show for live chat to show toast notifications for the conversation currently open in the chat panel. When this setting is off, notifications for that conversation appear only in the notification list.
Silence mobile notifications while active
Turn on Silence mobile when active here to skip mobile push notifications while the endOS web tab is focused. Mobile notifications are still sent when the tab is in the background or another window is focused.
